We’re excited to support a company recognized for their industry-leading reputation in gourmet and sustainably sourced food products in their search for a competitive, relationship-driven Sales Consultant to join their team supporting their Chinese and Cantonese clients in the Houston, TX market. 


As the Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in expanding market share, deepening customer relationships, and driving business growth within a fast-moving and competitive culinary marketplace. You’ll report to the Sales Leadership Team and will have the opportunity to shape customer experience, influence product demand, and strengthen their presence across a high-impact territory. What You’ll Do

  • Execute the full sales process: build product expertise, prospect and approach new clients, conduct needs assessments, present solutions, close sales, and manage follow-up.
  • Travel extensively throughout your assigned territory to meet with current and prospective customers and expand partnerships and solicit orders.
  • Strengthen customer relationships by delivering solution-oriented, high-touch service.
  • Collaborate with sales assistants, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to chefs, restaurant leaders, and hospitality professionals, representing their unmatched product quality.


What You’ll Bring

  • Fluency in Chinese and/or Cantonese - required
  • 5+ years of direct outside sales experience, ideally selling seafood (fresh or frozen) or other perishable food products/proteins.
  • Experience in the gourmet food, restaurant, or hospitality industry — former chefs, GMs, or culinary professionals encouraged to apply.
  • A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Alignment with company values: a competitive drive, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to outstanding customer relationships.
  • Strong territory knowledge and the ability to travel extensively within Houston and South Texas.
  • A love for the culinary world and enthusiasm for representing best-in-class, responsibly sourced products.
