As the Director of Sales, you’ll play a critical role in driving market revenue and gross profit growth while building and leading a high-performing sales team. You’ll report to the Regional Vice President of Sales and have the opportunity to shape short- and long-term market strategy, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and influence operational excellence across the region. What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations for the market, ensuring alignment with revenue and profit goals.
- Provide sales leadership, coaching, and performance oversight for a growing team.
- Define, implement, monitor, and continually improve sales KPIs and performance standards.
- Use data-driven reporting to assess sales performance and develop targeted improvement plans.
- Create and execute sales strategies across four key product categories: Fresh Seafood, Frozen Seafood, Meat & Poultry, and Specialty.
- Research customer and market trends to identify growth opportunities, new business segments, and emerging developments across the food space.
- Partner closely with operations and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Lead training, recruitment, development, and talent planning for the sales team.
- Manage customer contracts, forecasting, and problem-solving with cross-functional partners.
- Promote continuous improvement by communicating effectively with employees and sharing innovative ideas.
- Maintain product and industry knowledge while managing time and workflow to meet deadlines.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales leadership experience in the food industry (required).
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and challenge others.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic and creative thinking with the capacity to build a shared vision and translate strategy into action.
- Excellent time management, initiative, and follow-through with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred: 5–7 years of sales leadership experience, specifically with seafood or meat/poultry categories; Bachelor’s degree; Advanced skills in PowerBI, dashboards, or analytical tools.
